Most of our production is done with the sonic help of this Fostex XR-5.
Coleman gave it to Blake with about a pound of dust on it.
All 4 tracks still work, but most of what we do is use tracks one and two in mastering.
This is Blakes SSL2 interface. Every single thing we've ever recorded has used this. Literally everything.
All of our studio music and a large portion of our live sound is done entirely with these three microphones made by Ear Trumpet Labs.
This is Colemans Edwina, one time we dropped it in sand. Still sounds good.
This is Blake's Edwina, we can only tell them apart by the "Zuniga" label on the inside.
This is our Myrtle, it's the newest addition. It sounds good.
And yeah, they have cool cases too
We use these Sony WH-1000XM3's because they have the worlds longest name. And they sound better than 90% of consumer headphones.
We use them in recording and mixing, plus, we both use them when listening to music in general.
They have a slight bass boost eq which sounds so good, but is annoying for mixing. Blake curiously bought a newer version (XM5's) and hates them. XM3's are the best.
